CB-N2 Supplement (100X)

Captivate Bio’s CB-N2 Supplement (100X) is a serum-free supplement based on Bottenstein’s N-1 formulation. CB-N2 contains optimized concentrations of insulin, iron-rich holo-transferrin, progesterone, putrescine, and selenite.

CB-N2 promotes the cell growth and survival of a variety of cell types and is primarily used in the culture differentiation of neural cell lines. Additionally, CB-N2 adds support to cell culture media used to differentiate human pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) to a variety of cell types, including neural and pancreatic-like cells.

CB-N2 Supplement may be used with basal media supplemented with growth factors such as bFGF and EGF. When combined with DMEM or DMEM/F12 and FBS, CB-N2 also provides suitable supplementation for the culture of human and rodent astrocytes.
