Captivate Bio's CAPTiCLEAN™ is a highly effective disinfection solution for the treatment and prevention of contamination in CO2 incubator water trays. Add 10 mL per liter. Save when you buy case packs. Each bottle will treat water trays for up to 4-6 weeks.
Captivate Bio provides a simple preventative solution for keeping your incubator water bath clean and clear of unwanted microbial contamination. For researchers working in a CO2 incubators, CAPTiCLEAN™ is a highly active, non-volatile, non-corrosive, and non-toxic treatment for maintaining water quality when added to your water pan.
Based on Aquaguard-1, the antimicrobial and fungicidal properties in CAPTiCLEAN™ are effective against a wide range of common lab contaminants, including bacteria, yeast, and fungi. CAPTiCLEAN™ does not cause any damage to the stainless-steel tray or affect sensitive cells in culture and is a powerful tool in preventing contamination in the lab.
Instructions for Use: Recommended use is 10mL per 1 Liter of water. One bottle of CAPTiCLEAN™ is sufficient for two treatments of a 5-liter water bath.

To thaw, remove CAPTiCLEAN from freezer and thaw in the refrigerator (4ºC). Never thaw or heat the solution in a water bath.
For best practices, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting your water trays and refreshing with CAPTiCLEAN every 2-4 weeks depending on the size of your water tray.
We recommend that CAPTiCLEAN not undergo more than two freeze-thaw cycles prior to use.
Place CAPTiCLEAN in a refrigerator (4ºC) and continue thawing. Once fully thawed, gently swirl and aliquot into required working volumes. Then store aliquots in freezer (-20ºC) and use as needed.
Depending on use, we typically recommend cleaning and disinfecting the incubator every 14 days or a minimum of once a month. CAPTiCLEAN has been proven to be a highly effective antimicrobial agent against recurring contamination. The water in CO2 incubators should be replaced with sterile water every two to four weeks. Add 10 mL of CAPTiCLEAN Disinfection Solution per liter of water.
