Williams' E Medium, no L-glutamine

Captivate Bio's Williams' E Medium, is a specialized basal media widely used for growing hepatocyte cells. This formulation has Phenol Red and no L-glutamine.

Williams' E Medium was originally developed by Williams and Gunn as reduced serum-supplemented medium for long-term cell cultures of adult rat liver epithelial cells and can also be used for growing primary hepatocyte cells as well as human derived HepaRG cells.

This WEM Media is modified as follows:
- with Sodium Pyruvate
- with Glucose
- without L-glutamine
- without HEPES

Captivate Bio's Williams' E Media has been enriched in amino acids and double the glucose. William's E Medium contains unique ingredients, including zinc, iron, manganese, non-essential amino acids, the reducing agent glutathione and the lipid methyl linoleate. William's E Medium contains no proteins or growth factors.
