Captivate Bio's cell culture-grade water is for use as a solvent in the preparation of cell culture media and laboratory reagents.
Captivate Bio's cell culture-grade water has very low endotoxin (less than 0.03 EU/mL). Conductivity, total organic carbon, endotoxin and bioburden are tested monthly.
Water is prepared by reverse osmosis, passed through fine carbon, deionized through two resin beds, and serially filtered twice through 0.1 µm positively charged membranes, to yield a product with an endotoxin level of less than 0.03 EU/mL. Cell culture-grade water can be useful for making solutions such as cell culture media and washing solutions; while it can be used to dilute buffers and suspend cells.
