Interleukin 3 (IL-3), also known as Multi-Colony Stimulating Factor (multi-CSF) or mast cell growth factor, is a cytokine produced by activated T cells, monocytes, and stromal cells that stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into myeloid progenitor cells. It acts on early pluripotent stem cells to regulate blood-cell production (erythroid, myeloid) and supports mature basophil/mast cell activation.

IL-3 Protein is the recombinant human-derived IL-3 protein, expressed by E. coli with N-6*His labeled tag.
