Multilayer cell culture flasks

NEST® multilayer flasks are a high-quality, cost-effective option where your lab can enjoy the benefits of productivity, compatibility, and extra savings when compared to competition. Flasks are available with TC-treated surfaces, plug seal cap or vented cap, and available in 3-layer or 5-layer formats.

Multilayer flasks are designed with cell growth areas ranging from 520cm² to 870cm² enabling your lab with faster cell growth and the benefits of minimal variability during scale up.

This product is configured as follows: 3-layers, TC-treated, vent caps, and packaged 1 per pack in a case of 12.

How to use the 3-layer flask:

Multilayer flasks are designed to provide 520 cm2 of surface area with a large footprint for cell production. This small, three-layer design delivers expanded culture surface to help save your lab space, minimize variability, and increase productivity.

1. Prepare cell suspension and pour into the 3-layer cell culture flask slowly, slightly tilting the flask to avoid foams or bubbles (125-200 mL is recommended).
2. Leave the flask upright for a short time to balance the medium volume on every layer by tilting the flask at a 75-degree angle.
3. Gently turn the flask from upright to the incubation position.
4. While incubating, the medium will equally spread over each layer.
5. To harvest cells, follow standard protocols (15-35ml trypsin is recommended).
