ACY Cocktail Kit

Captivate Bio's ACY Cocktail Kit includes three small molecule compounds—A-83-01 (TGF- inhibitor), CHIR99021 (Wnt activator), and Y-27632 (ROCK inhibitor)—used primarily to enhance cell proliferation, viability, and stemness in culture, especially for mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and organoids. The ACY Coctail Kit contains 10 mg of each small molecule and is available in Research or GMP-grade formats.

The ACY small molecules have been shown to be a potential strategy for the large-scale in vitro expansion of high-quality MSCs. ACY Cocktail Kit can promote MSC proliferation and maintain cell phenotype (including genomic stability, stem cell potential, and homogeneity).¹

Applications include:

• MSC Proliferation: Significantly increases the expansion rate and viability of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) while maintaining their phenotype.
• Stem Cell Research: Often used in the induction of pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
• Organoid Culture: Plays a key role in maintaining the growth of primary human cells and organoids (e.g., intestinal or liver organoids).
• Primary Cell Expansion: Utilized in the long-term expansion of epithelial cells and other niche-specific progenitors.

The ACY Cocktail (A-83-01, CHIR99021, and Y-27632) is widely used in regenerative medicine research to maintain the stemness and proliferation potential of cells, effectively preventing premature differentiation or apoptosis.
