Captivate Bio offers a wide variety of NEST® cell culture inserts and multi-well plates. This product is configured as follows: 12-well plate with 12 cell culture inserts, 3.0 micron, PC Membrane, Translucent, TC-treated. Inserts are packaged 12 per pack in a case of 48.
Captivate Bio offers a wide variety of NEST® cell culture inserts and multi-well plates. NEST® cell culture inserts are designed to maximize and promote the natural growth of suspension and adherent cell lines. Inserts are available in two different optimized membranes: polycarbonate (PC) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) membranes. These membranes promote the natural, multidimensional growth of cells, leading to more biologically relevant results for applications including toxicity screening, co-cultures, cell signaling, cell proliferation, transport assays, and ADME/Tox drug safety studies.
The PC membrane facilitates a low adsorption rate by reducing the loss of small molecular proteins and other compounds. The transparent PET inserts permit sufficient optical transparency for visualizing cell outlines by phase contrast microscopy.
Cell culture inserts are sterile, tissue culture-treated, and available in a variety of pore sizes.
