At Captivate Bio, we are as committed as ever to delivering high quality cell culture products and services to advance life science research. As we reflect on an incredible year of collaboration and growth, we’re proud to share highlights from several of our key milestones and partnerships that helped shape a successful year.

Highlights

Launched new products and services:

• Expanded product portfolio to include new high quality molecular biology, cell culture, and endotoxin-free water solutions, providing customers with additional cost-savings for their projects.
• Added new research small molecules and proteins to support human NK cells and MSC expansion.
• Established commercial programs for industry partners to include marketing, sales, and fulfillment services to the US market, successfully delivering for large supplier with biotech and pharma customers.

Created value-add customer programs:

• Custom Service offering expanded to include storage and warehousing – saving customers time, space, and money securing supply of cell culture media and reagents for their research projects.
• Launched our new CAPTiFAST™ same-day and next day delivery program for researchers located in Boston, Cambridge, Watertown, and surrounding areas. This program has been well received in the area showing potential for regional expansion in the new year.

Supported cell & gene therapy research projects:

• Delivered tailored cell culture media and salt solutions for cell and gene therapy customers on-time with reliable custom manufacturing and excellent customer service.
• Launched the company’s first generation of xeno-free cell culture media, RESiVATE™ MSC Expansion Media is designed for the rapid expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
• Added GMP small molecules to support cell therapy research programs, applications include NSCs, MSC, and more.

Expanded worldwide partnerships:

• Partnered with Rainbow Scientific to expand Captivate Bio’s reach into the molecular cytogenetics and clinic markets.
• Increased collaborative work with EverCell Bio, led to the introduction of the company’s first proprietary stem cell media for MSC applications.
• Established a new distribution partnership with NEST Scientific USA adding hundreds of new labware, cell cultureware, and fluid handling products for the US market to our portfolio, providing customers an alternative supplier for key plastics saving them over 50% compared to other brands.
