Captivate Bio's Leibovitz's L-15 Medium supports the growth of HEp-2 monkey kidney and primary explants of embryonic and adult human tissue, and a variety of other cells. Leibovitz’ L-15 Medium was developed by Dr. Leibovitz as a buffering system based on free base amino acids, inorganic salts, and the substitution of galactose for glucose. This medium is designed for supporting cell growth in environments without CO2 equilibration.
This L-15 is modified as follows: with Phenol Red without L-glutamine without Sodium Bicarbonate
