Captivate Bio's IMDM (Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium) is a popular classical media for rapid proliferation of high-density cell cultures, including hematopoietic stem cells, Jurkat, and macrophage cells. This media is ideal for cultures in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
Captivate Bio's IMDM (Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium) is a popular classical media for rapid proliferation of high-density cell cultures, including hematopoietic stem cells, Jurkat, and macrophage cells. This formulations is modified with the addition of HEPES buffer, selenium, additional amino acids, vitamins and sodium pyruvate, and potassium nitrate instead of ferric nitrate.
Formulation: with HEPES, L-glutamine, and Phenol Red
Using IMDM IMDM, a modification of Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium, includes selenium as well as additional amino acids and vitamins. In addition, this unique medium contains no proteins, lipids, or growth factors. IMDM uses a sodium bicarbonate buffer system and therefore requires a 5–10% CO2 environment to maintain physiological pH.
