Newborn Calf Serum

Newborn Calf Serum (NCS) is collected from healthy, inspected bovine calves that are typically less than 20 days old and manufactured under stringent collection and processing standards. NCS is used for routine maintenance of various cell lines where low antibody concentrations are not critical. Newborn Calf Serum is often used as a lower-priced, cost-effective alternative to FBS.
